Friends & Family Cruise 2025

As you can see above, I have created a group booking with special rates on the fabulous Celebrity Eclipse for an EIGHT night booking departing next March 8th 2025 and returning on Sunday March 16th 2025. Even though it is an 8 night adventure I planned it so we depart on a Saturday and return on a Sunday, so you still only have to take off one week of work. Unless you are retired, like me, or work onboard, like Manny. LOL
Thanks to the great rates I was able to create on Celebrity, ALL of the cabins have verandahs. No Insides and no Oceanviews with just a porthole. Everyone gets a balcony!
And everyone gets a full Classic Beverage Package, and a Basic Wifi account, and each cabin receives a $50 OBC (On Board Credit).
The four ports of call are Labadee, a private beach resort owned by Celebrity in Haiti, with full security. (And if the situation in Haiti does not improve, they will substitute a different port, so no worries there.) Next we go to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Ask Manny to show you the foto of me in the lazy river. Literally IN the lazy river! Next up on the itinerary is Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas in the USVI. You can also catch a ferry to nearby St. John and enjoy the absolute most gorgeous beaches. The next port is Philipsburg, St. Maarten, which is actually part of the Netherlands. Across the island from the Dutch side is the French side, St. Martin. You don't need a passport or ID to go back and forth between these two European tropical outposts! Needless to say there is great shopping, food and beaches.
And of course there are wonderful days at sea. THREE of them!
All of this is available for a REFUNDABLE fare (until the day final payment is due in December 2024).
A Verandah cabin costs $3626.56 total, based on double occupancy. That includes all taxes, fees and port charges, however crew gratuities are not included and will be added to your stateroom bill. A Verandah cabin earns 3 Captains Club points per night.
A Concierge cabin costs just $3714.56, also based on double occupancy. This rate also includes all taxes, fees and port charges, but not crew gratuities. All Concierge staterooms do have balconies as well, and provide extra amenities such as a Welcome Aboard Concierge Class Lunch in one of the dining rooms, so you don't have to fight the buffet lines on day one. You also receive a bottle of sparkling wine in your cabin upon embarkation, along with "delectable bites" delivered to your stateroom every afternoon. Your concierge cabin will also have binoculars and a large umbrella for your use during the cruise. Other amenities include a pillow selection menu, access to a personalized concierge service, a destination seminar, and complimentary shoeshine service. If you are building your points towards status, the Concierge fare does earn 5 points per night.
I have a set number of cabins in each room category, so call me as soon as you can to secure the type of room you want. Of course, Celebrity will offer a Move Up program in the final weeks prior to sailing, and you can bid to upgrade to higher categories of rooms, such as Aqua Class or Suites.
How to book: Call me! And have your credit card handy to pay the $500 deposit, which can be broken into smaller payments between now and November if you wish. If you want to enroll in Flex Pay, just let me know when you call. The total deposit must be made no later than 08 November 2024. And final payment is due no later than 01 December 2024. So you have lots of time to plan. Because the deposit is refundable, I encourage you to make a down payment now, even if you are unsure about the cruise, and then you won't have to worry about it while you finalize your plans.
As always, I strongly suggest you purchase trip insurance, which will cover the cruise and also flights and hotel, if you do not live in Fort Lauderdale. I will be asking you about insurance when you call me, so please think about it. Oh, and did I mention, the cruise leaves from Fort Lauderdale.
